**First Wabash Valley Insulator Show** will be held August 3, 2024 at the Shelburn Community Building, 30 Interurban St, Shelburn, IN 47879. Dealer set-up will begin Friday, August 2nd, at 2:00 PM EST. The show will open to the public at 8:30 AM, Saturday, August 3rd, and run until the last man leaves that evening. Sunday morning, the building will be open for dealer teardown. This day will not be advertised to the public. The show is located off of Highway 41 in Shelburn, IN, less than half an hour south of Interstate 70 in Terre Haute, and 35 minutes to Highway 50/150 in Vincennes. Just three hours from major cities such as Chicago, Cincinnati, Dayton, Fort Wayne, Louisville, and St. Louis, this is the perfect central location. Lodging is available in Sullivan, just 6 miles south on Highway 41. $30 for first table, $25 for each additional table. North Western Insulator Club Summer Swap and Sale. Join us for our summer event at the home of Colin and Karen Yennie, 1126 Ebert Drive, Nisswa, MN 56468. Hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with set up in the yard. There is room for as many tables as you would like. Bring your own chairs too. An auction will be held around noon with any and all items welcome. Last year Dave French auctioned a great selection of porcelain pieces. Colin will fire up the grill for lunch. The Dixie Jewels Insulator Club's Summer Swap Meet, hosted by Ralph Dean and Mike Herron, will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM in Toccoa, Georgia. The swap will be held at Mitchell Allen Memorial Hall, 160 Alexander Street, Toccoa GA, located at the historic Toccoa Depot and next door to the Currahee Military Museum. Around 20 tables will be available, so please contact Ralph Dean or Mike before the swap to reserve your sales table. If all those tables are spoken for, plan to bring your own table. This is always a well-attended show location with great assortment of insulators available. Admission is free and there is no charge to set up a sales table for Dixie Jewels members. For Non-members there is a nominal fee of $5 to have a sales table. Lunch will be provided, and all are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert or drinks to complement the meal. The Yankee Pole Cat Insulator Club is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Swap on Saturday September 21. The swap is once again being held at the Manchester (CT) Land Conservation Trust Bush Hill Farm property. The address is 330 Bush Hill Rd, Manchester, CT. We will be outdoors in the back lot - follow the driveway to the right of the barn. If you have collector friends that are not members of the online insulator community, please let them know about the swap. ADMISSION IS FREE! This will be our only outdoor, informal get-together for 2024. Based on prior outdoor swaps, we anticipate many dealer tables as well a huge throng of eager collectors looking for goodies. Hours are 9-1. If you are planning on attending, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 8. There is no charge to set-up as many tables as you want; all tabletop collectibles are welcome. There are no tables on-site so please bring whatever table(s) and chair(s) you need. There is a port-o-potty on site adjacent to the barn by the main road. Continuing our tradition, there will be a lunch provided by the Pole Cats, free of charge! If you are planning on attending and will be staying for lunch, please let me know ahead of time so I can get an accurate count for the lunch.
